DeenMate AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the DeenMate AI mobile application (“the App”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our services. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Location Data

• With your permission, the App accesses your device’s precise location while in use to provide prayer-time calculations and Qibla direction.
• Location is processed on-device and may be sent to service providers strictly to compute results.
• We do not persist your precise location on our servers.

User Queries & AI Responses

• Questions you submit via Ask AI are transmitted to a third-party AI provider to generate responses.
• We do not store these prompts on our servers.
• The AI provider may retain inputs temporarily (e.g., up to 30 days) for abuse monitoring. Avoid including sensitive personal information in prompts.

Usage & Diagnostics

• We may collect aggregated, anonymous usage statistics (e.g., feature usage, crash reports) to improve performance and reliability.
• This information does not identify you personally and is retained for up to 12 months before aggregation or deletion.

Purchases

• Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple. We receive only the purchase confirmation needed to unlock premium features; we do not receive billing details.
